What’s a Board member?
A Board Member’s role and responsibility is centered around the fiscal management of our non-profit and strategic planning in pursuit of our mission, and we’re always looking for fresh perspectives and strive to be inclusive.
When does the position start?
Formal board positions begin at the start of each academic year in January. During the preceding months, from September to December, previous board members dedicate themselves to the guidance and mentorship of the incoming board members. This period serves as a preparatory phase, ensuring a seamless transition and the successful handover of responsibilities to the new generation of board members. This structured approach ensures continuity and the preservation of the board’s collective wisdom and experience.
