We observe this special week to thank teachers and staff for their diligence throughout the academic year. While appreciation alone will not reduce the challenges they face, it will let them know their efforts matter.
PASS approaches this event with all the creativity we can muster. We provide thoughtful meals for all 42 staff members, involving students in "gestures for the day":
Monday - bring staff member or teacher a flower or CA wildflower seeds.
Tuesday - bring staff member or teacher a favorite treat.
Wednesday - write a card or draw a picture for your staff member or teacher.
Thursday - bring a supply for the classroom.
Friday - give a gift of YOUR choice! (for example, coffee, gift card, movie ticket).
