Student Gardens

We sponsor drought-tolerant school gardens, including sensory herb gardens and native plant gardens, to support classroom projects that teach about pollination, mulching, plant propagation, and other hands-on gardening techniques and concepts.

Gardens are for the mind, body, and soul. Gardens connect students the natural world, teaching personal and social responsibility and plant science.

Planting and digging are physical activities that improve student health. Gardens also provide beautiful, quiet places to relax, explore, and enjoy. The more butterflies, the merrier!
