A fun, family event with delicious dinner (the most popular being spaghetti/salad/garlic bread), followed by pop culture music. Families mingle with each other as they enjoy their kids' favorite tunes, and many even "hit" the dance floor.
This event (with sum 300 visitors!) takes a great deal of coordination and fundraising support, but well worth the effort.
We kick off this Valentine's event with candy grams to our special teachers, staff, and friends, and it's not uncommon for kids to send a gram to their entire class. Grams are a great way to express gratitude and make a few bashful compadres blush.
